Who wears wedges with her sweats. Yep. And I'm proud of it.

Last night Ike and I had the privilege of attending a really fun Oscar Party hosted by our friends Erin and Lisa! We were in charge of bringing a dessert (slutty brownies, see pics below) and an appetizer (italian lemon shrimp, no pics). Slutty brownies are amaze balls . I discovered these beauties at Ike's cousins house; her chef, Gaby made them for us and I've thought about them ever since! It's basically a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough, topped with Oreos, topped with brownies. The Oreos become soft and it's the sweetest, softest bite of heaven.

For those of you who know me you know bike riding is not my forte. That's why I found it hysterical that AJ and I rented bikes today in Venice beach! We rode 6 miles; stopped at the Santa Monica Pier, rode the roller coaster and ship, had a bite to eat and rode back. We even got to catch some surfers!

Some things I learned:

*I'm not an expert bike rider, therefore passing pedestrians I'd yell "inexperienced bike rider!!"

*I learned the hard way you can't ride a bike through the sand.

It was a super fun day and I'll definitely be doing this more!

I've been super bored with my hair lately and Saturday I seized the moment and had my hair colored and cut! I've been looking for a good place since we've moved to LA and everyone highly recommended Eddy James salon. I loved my stylist, enjoyed the conversation and loved her creativity!

Some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity...

Mom spent the last week with us in LA. What a treat! We laughed so hard we cried (many times), shopped, dined out, went on a whale watching excursion in Newport and had too much fun. Needless to say yesterday sucked hard when she left. Here are some pics from our time together;

Ever since I was a little girl I've been a lover of the water. Never did I imagine I would live within walking distance to the ocean. Saturday Ike, Fin and I spent a day hitting all the beaches down the PCH.

I'm definitely a California girl.

A year ago today I woke up engaged to the man of my dreams. I love you, Ike Lee. Being Mrs. Lee is truly an honor. You've showed me true, crazy inconceivable love exists. You have made my wildest dreams come true and you're my best partner. I cant imagine a better half to go through this life together. Who would have thought a year later we'd be where we are this morning.

I love you Ike Lee. Thank you for choosing me, everyday.

I've been a bad blogger! I've been too busy with everyday life I haven't had much time to myself, let alone time to blog. This past week has been a whirlwind! We had the SAG's Sunday which means fittings, hair, makeup, color, cut, and everything in between. A looked absolutely breathtaking on the red carpet! I couldn't have been more happy for her; she was even named one of the best dressed by E's fashion police! We had a blast Sunday; we finished getting her ready for the awards early in the afternoon so Ike's aunt and uncle met us at Four Seasons for drinks and lunch on the patio! It was a beautiful day, we sat outside and enjoyed people watching. Oh AND I rode down the elevator with Glenn Close!!!

With all the SAG's I didn't have a day off last week and this week we are moving! It's been hectic but when it's over it will be for the best and I will have some time to myself! I love my job; I can't think of another job where I'd be happy to work long hours, so I really can't complain except I will say moving is my biggest nightmare. I despise it. :)
